This is a simple guideline for beginners who wished to improve their blog traffic/hits.It works for me when I apply the same technique onto my blog which gains a high ranking in Google Search result.1) Tell your friends about your blogWith your friends' knowledge about your blog, they will visit your blog often because your blog is most likely about the activities happening around you. Friends will be excited if you feature them into your blog and in return, they will set up a blog and link your blog into theirs. From here, you have already set up a ring of network. Friends will then visit your site more and more often and soon you will gain popularity. As said some blogs are tools for people to express their thoughts, feelings, expressions or emotions, your friends will be very keen to visit your blog to know about your emotions. So, tell your friends about your blog now!2) Update your blog frequentlyThis step is a must for every bloggers either commercial bloggers or personal bloggers. Why is it

So, there’s no need for me to elaborate further.3) Backlinking – Exchange links from blog to blogBacklinks or reciprocal links are links on websites that connect to another website containing a link back to the original site. Reciprocal links are a common practice aimed at increasing website traffic, and may be used as a courtesy or may be contractually required. To increase your blog traffic, it is best to backlink with other popular blogs or blog directories. Take for an example, if your link is listed on a popular website, you are sure to get unique traffic.4) Join blog sharing and blog bookmarking websitesTechnorati.com, StumbleUpon.com, delicious.com etc are blog sharing and bookmarking sites. Join them and be active so that other members around the world will visit your blog5) Join forumsForums are the greatest place for bloggers to share their blog. I supposed that every country have their ‘most famous’ forum. Like in my country Malaysia, forums like forum.lowyat.net are well known to many Malaysians. There’s a gigantic forum called forums.digitalpoint.com which is a nice place to share out your blogs. Just create a topic and promote it! Receive critics and comments by the seniors. Learn from them.6) Adding Meta tags to your blognot have Meta tags, your site will unlikely be listed in search results.
